K2 Care is a domiciliary care agency, providing quality care and support services to the varied communities of Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.
K2 is the second highest mountain in the world, however it is recognised as being the ultimate climbing challenge. Only those with the greatest dedication and talent will make it to the top.
Our care team demonstrates the same level of dedication and talent in the work that they do each day to support our clients. As with the mountain itself, K2 Care does not aim to be the biggest in anything - simply the best in everything.
The concept behind K2 Care was developed following the personal experience of having a family member live with a long-term illness, developing an ever-increasing reliance on care services. The care they received was adequate, however their religious and cultural preferences were not met as well as they could have been.
At K2, we aim to provide care of the highest quality, delivered by a team who are able to meet the religious and cultural preferences of each individual. All care is provided in a manner that shows respect and understanding for these personal requirements.
K2 Care believes in the importance of supporting people to live full and happy lives, and we actively strive to facilitate this. All of our work is carried out with the aim of encouraging independence, whilst maintaining uncompromising dignity and privacy.
We foster open and honest relationships with our clients and their families, welcoming feedback on a regular basis. All concerns, queries and issues are dealt with promptly. All of the services, procedures and processes that we employ are governed by our in-house best practice policies, inspected periodically by the Care Quality Commission.
We start by having a chat over the phone to discuss how we might be able to help. You'll be able to ask any questions that you have. If you're interested to go ahead, we'll arrange for a free face-to-face assessment, which will be scheduled for a time that suits you.
A member of our team will come to visit you in your home. This will give you an opportunity to get to know one another, and you'll be able to discuss your wishes for how you'd like to be supported. Together, you'll draw up a care plan that is unique to you.
During your initial assessment, we'll agree the days and times of your upcoming visits. Your carers will introduce themselves to you, and your care will begin. We'll give you a call after a couple of weeks to check that you're happy with the arrangement.
Complete this form and we'll be in touch soon to discuss how we can help.
